Eudora Wildlife Safari Park, home to over 300 exotic animals, is located in Salley, South Carolina. Additionally, you can view camels, wildebeest, and emus, plus you can also pet, feed, and admire dozens of other animals as you meander through a portion of the grounds, all from the safety of your own vehicle. Mclain's you got to do better.Enter the Preserve and enjoy feeding and being surrounded by hundreds of deer, sheep, donkeys, alpacas, waterfowl, and more. Oh and when I talked to the management inside concerning my treatment on Saturday I did not get anything but I am sorry we are working on a radio station. We get to the petting zoo and the kids are happy again until they are told they cannot pet the giraffes because there is an extra charge for this.WHY Didn't some one say so in the beginning? Hey guys we are paying 70.00 to drive thru your Safari can you at least give us an "ALL INCLUSIVE" charge for everything? Can you provide bigger cups for the animals to eat out of and can you provide a paper guide spotlighting the different animals? I wanted my grand children to LEARN about animals thru this experience but I came away very very disappointed. We finish the drive thru with no real guidance because they gave us nothing to discuss or tell the kids about the different animals. The feed cups that they give you for the animals to eat out of on the drive thru part of the safari are too small for the animals to get their head in so needless to say they wind up knocking the cup out of the kids hands and now the children are crying because they can't feed the animals. So my husband did and all 3 children were so excited. The guy behind the counter said we should buy carrots so we could feed the giraffe's in the petting Zoo. it cost 70.00 for all 5 of us to drive thru in our own car. We took 3 of our grandchildren to McClain's for the Drive Thru Safari. etc.Īll in all, it was a surprisingly nice event in so many ways. Bison, watusi, several kinds of deer, giant cows, an alligator in the pond, zebra, miniature horses. The animals appear to be well taken care of and there is a nice variety to see. For us, it was an afternoon of laughing and delight at the giant animals right at our eye level. ![]() The animals came right up to the wagon which could have been pretty intense for smaller children. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and shared her personal animal experiences with us as she told us about the animals. Since our group was small, we were taken in a smaller vehicle than the usual covered wagons. I would definitely consider the school groups with regard to timing a trip if less chaos is important to you. There were lots of school groups there when we arrived which did entail noise and chaos, but they were gone shortly after lunch and the entire property became noticeably calmer and quieter. We moved from lunch to the General Store to see all the stuff for sale, then to the Farmer's Market and finally to the safari. We enjoyed our Southern buffet lunch - the fried chicken was crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, the lima beans were delicious, the chocolate and strawberry pies were tasty. I'm not sure what other reviewers were expecting, but my senior mom and I had a terrific time at the McLain experience.
